Mazda's ultimate hot hatch Generation 2, released in 2009 till 2014, this 2.3 liter 4 cylinder engine features a direct injection setup for optimal power and performance. Most recognisable by it's bonnet scoop, this took over from the very successfull Gen 1 and only improved with stronger internals, new suspension setup and a built-in boost gauge.
